About Positive Postings
Life can feel very noisy these days.
Between constant notifications, endless scrolling and the pace of modern life, I think many of us are quietly craving something a little slower, softer and more meaningful again.
That feeling is really what inspired Positive Postings.
When I was younger, I had a pen-pal for years and I still remember the excitement of receiving her letters in the mail. They would arrive marked Air Mail on that beautiful extra-thin paper we used to use to save weight on postage, and just seeing the envelope in the letterbox would light me up from the inside out before I had even opened it.
There was something magical about it.
The anticipation.
The connection.
The feeling that someone, somewhere in the world, had taken the time to sit down and write to you.
I also still have a small collection of letters that I wrote to my grandmother when I was young, along with the letters she wrote back to me. They are among my most treasured possessions.
In a world where so much communication now disappears into phones, inboxes and social feeds, there’s something incredibly special about holding a real letter in your hands.
That’s what Positive Postings was created to bring back.
Not just beautiful mail… but beautiful feelings.
A moment of pause.
A little encouragement.
A reminder that kindness, thoughtfulness and human connection still matter.
Every month, Positive Postings is thoughtfully created to bring a little joy to your letterbox through heartfelt letters, uplifting surprises and meaningful moments of connection.
My hope is that when you see a Positive Postings envelope arrive, you experience a little of that same excitement and warmth that I once felt waiting for those Air Mail letters all those years ago 💌
